Students had a special day of learning Sept. 29—one that didn’t take place inside the classroom! As part of a school-wide field trip day, students participated in several trips around the area.

For most of our students at Butler Catholic School, the first day of the 2023-24 school year was Aug. 24. But we had the chance to celebrate other “first days” Sept. 6 and 7—when our three- and four-year-old preschoolers attended class for the first time!
It started with an Eagle Scout project. Justin Higgins, an alumnus of Butler Catholic School, decided around 2018 to help give back to his community by building four raised beds behind the school.
