The Butler Catholic School faculty recently attended the 2024 National Catholic Educational Association convention in Pittsburgh!
The NCEA is the world’s largest private, professional educational membership association for teachers working in Catholic school, universities, and other faith-based educational program capacities. The annual NCEA convention is a unique event that brings together Catholic and other religious educators from around the world to share ideas, as well as cutting-edge research and technologies related to education.
Hosted this year in Pittsburgh, BCS Principal John Hazur and our faculty had the exciting opportunity to attend the NCEA conference the first week of April! The schedule included daily Keynote speaker presentations and breakout sessions, as well as service and fellowship opportunities for attendees.
At BCS, professional development events such as the NCEA convention are important for helping our faculty provide innovative classroom experiences that meet each student’s academic needs. We can't wait to see how our teachers plan to put what they've learned into practice!
