Several Butler Catholic School students submitted artwork for the 2023 Protect Our Watersheds Art Contest. We’re excited to learn seventh grader Layden Painter and sixth grader Madalyn Krill were recently selected to be included in this year’s art contest calendar!
The event is hosted every year by Pennsylvania American Water and is open to all schools within its service area. Along with submitting original artwork, students must write a brief statement discussing their inspiration and explaining why they're passionate about protecting water resources. Layden and Madalyn’s submissions encouraged people to be mindful of their water usage, discussing the importance of having reliable aqua sources and access to clean drinking water.
We’re so proud of all the students who submitted to this year’s contest and love seeing our students champion the health and wellbeing of their communities!
