BCS Students Hold All Saints Play

One of our favorite traditions at Butler Catholic School is the annual second grade All Saints Play!

Held each year around All Saints’ Day, students in second grade prepare for the event by choosing a saint to research and dress up as in a special ceremony! The play allows students to learn about the lives of holy men and women canonized by the church and gives them the opportunity to further their own devotion to God.

This year, students shared what they learned about their chosen saints in the BCS chapel on Oct. 29. Second grade families were invited to the ceremony to participate in prayers and songs.

This year, our second graders were also invited to join the procession during our whole school All Saints Day mass Nov. 1!
