Butler Catholic School recently joined thousands of schools across the globe for See You at the Pole Day!
See You at the Pole is a student-driven movement that encourages classmates to gather around the flagpole before school for prayer. This year, eighth grader Kamryn Martin got BCS involved!
“I emailed Mr. Hazur and asked if we could do it,” Kamryn explained. “It just snowballed from there!"
Joined by faculty and staff, students specifically offered up intercessory prayers and asked for guidance, protection, and peace for the world.
Though she's graduating from BCS this year, Kamryn hopes the tradition of praying at the flagpole will continue for many years.
Though prayer is a major part of every school day at BCS, participating in this event helped our students to recognize they’re part of a larger faith-based community in education. We’re grateful for everyone who had the chance to join us!
