The annual Santa Secret Shop is a tradition at Butler Catholic School!
Hosted by the BCS Parent-Teacher Group each year during the school day, the Santa Secret Shop allows students to participate in some top-secret gift shopping just in time for Christmas. By taking time to think about the people in their lives they want to celebrate and give to, students embodied the Advent lessons of selflessness and hope.
This year, our eighth-grade students participated as helpful assistant shopping elves! Dressing up in costume, they assisted our youngest students with their shopping lists by helping them stick to budgets while making sure they found the right gift for every person on their lists. The two-day gift-hunting opportunity—held this year in the auditorium—gave students a chance to peruse an assortment of presents, such as cooking ware, games, toys, and other things.
By working together, we’re excited to see our students and volunteers truly bring the Christmas spirit to life!
