During the summer of 2024, Butler Catholic School will be transitioning from a parish school to a member of the Diocese of Pittsburgh's North Hills Regional Catholic Elementary Schools. The North Hills Region regionalization is part of a bigger initiative within the diocese to find ways to help Catholic education flourish through streamlined processes, cohesive partnership, and uniform operation. The diocese has several distinct geographical regions within the diocesan school system. Each region is operated by a governing board of pastors and lay leaders, who provide insight and expertise to all schools. Regions are supported and led by a regional administrator and a business manager, who oversee the principals running each school building. The schools themselves are governed by a board of clergy and lay leaders, who represent each parish grouping.
At BCS, we're excited to find new ways through the North Hills Region to reach our families and provide our students with a thorough, comprehensive, and effective elementary education!
