Though we at Butler Catholic School have already bid the 8th grade class of 2023 a fond farewell, our graduates continue to serve as examples of what hard work, dedication, and focus can accomplish!
Brea Kelley, who will be attending North Catholic High School in the fall, has been recognized as a Class of 2027 North Catholic Scholar! She earned the honor after an extensive essay, application, and interview process that displayed her leadership and academic abilities.
“I am honored to be chosen as a North Catholic Ambassador Scholar!” Brea said. “And to share how I have benefited from Catholic education.”
As a Scholar, Brea will be acting as a Student Ambassador for North Catholic during open houses, visitation days, and other events. Brea explained she is most looking forward to working with students, alumni, and the North Catholic community.
She is particularly excited to promote what North Catholic can provide to prospective families and the community. Her role reflects not only the expectations of a North Catholic student, but also the spiritual and academic growth a BCS education can accomplish.
Similarly, BCS graduates Ruby Wissinger and Annamarie White have also received the Spirit of Saint Joseph Scholar award!
Ruby and Annamarie, who have been accepted into Saint Joseph High School for the 2023-24 school year, received their recognitions for exhibiting the spirit of what it means to actively pursue and participate in a Catholic education.
As our graduates and their families step into their unique futures, we hope they carry with them all the things they learned and achieved at Butler Catholic School. May God bless them as they continue to grow as learners in both faith and knowledge!
