BCS Academic Teams Score Big

Members of our Math 24 Team competed at an event Feb. 21 at Saint Joseph High School! The following students placed during the competition:

Forensics
On Feb. 22, BCS earned second place out of over 17 schools at a Forensics tournament at North Catholic High School--and we were two points away from first place! 

In the first round of the competition, 11 of our 14 students received first place and the other three students received second. Overall, BCS improved by 20 points from our last tournament. Way to go, everyone! Keep it up!

PJAS
Members of our Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science Team did an amazing job at the Region 9 Competition at Slippery Rock University on Feb. 22!  The following students placed:

Wyatt Adley (8th grade), first award and $100 for the Innovation Award for Jr. High
Tommy Edwards (8th grade), first award
Kaelyn Gapinski (7th grade), first award

These students will go on to the State Competition at Penn State University Main Campus in May!
