PJAS Team Scores Big at Regional Competition

We want to congratulate BCS faculty member Mrs. Chobot and our PA Junior Academy of Science team for having an amazing weekend Feb. 24 during the PJAS Regional Competition at Slippery Rock University! All seven of our BCS representatives—who are seventh and eighth graders—received First Awards:

Leslie Best
Kamryn Martin
Maddigan Smith
Xavier Grenci
Tommy Edwards
Madison Krahe

Sarah Burd also received the SRU Junior High Behavioral Science award and $100 for her achievement. Kamryn Martin, who achieved a perfect score at the event, won the SRU Junior High Biology award and $100. For having a student who received the Biology award, the SRU Department of Biology also awarded Mrs. Chobot $200!
