Track and Field season comes to an end

Butler Catholic School had an amazing track season this year! All the athletes performed exceptionally well in their races and events throughout the year and at the Championships. The athletes had several personal records (PR’s) throughout the season, learned good sportsmanship, and made a few friends along the way. Way To Go BCS!

Results from the 2023 Track Championship are below. A special congratulations goes out to Mateo, Brendan, and Tommy for placing among the top 8 athletes in their events!

**Varsity Championship Meet Friday, May 19th , 2023
-Mateo Saspe: 3rd place in the 400m with a PR time of 58.78
-Brendan Eicher: 1st place in the 800m with a time of 2:13.81
-Brendan Eicher: 2nd Place in the 1600m with a PR time of 4:47.24
-Brendan Eicher: 2nd Place in the 3200m with a PR time of 10:32.93
**JV Championship Meet Saturday, May 20th , 2023
-Tommy Edwards: 3rd Place in Shot Put with a PR distance of 25ft 9in.
