"Music education stimulates, challenges, and enriches our young people during their formative, school years; its value lasts a lifetime.” - Tammy Baldwin
Personal and Professional Background
Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I knew from a young age I was going to do something with music in my adult life. I was blessed with amazing teachers such as Mrs. Allison Carey in elementary school and Mrs. Beth Ackelson in high school. These amazing educators helped me to choose my career path in music education and vocal performance.
I studied at Westminster College, and graduated in 2023 with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education, and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. My student teaching experience showed me the power of teaching young musicians the same gift that I was given as a student. Aside from my teaching, I have been active in various musical programs, choirs, and function as a soloist in various settings.
