“I believe that all children have amazing strengths that can improve the dynamics of the classroom and that each child deserves the opportunity to learn the best way for him or her.”
Personal and Professional Background
This is my tenth year at BCS. I had taught at St. Wendelin and as a substitute teacher before coming to BCS. I graduated from Clarion University with an Early Childhood and Elementary Education degree.
My husband and I have three boys ages 17, 15, and 13 who have attended BCS. We are all members of All Saints Parish.
When the school day is over I enjoy life with my family. We like to spend time together doing just about anything, especially being in the outdoors. We enjoy going to Moraine or Erie.
What Do You Feel Makes Butler Catholic Special?
There are many reasons Butler Catholic is special, but most important to me is how Butler Catholic prioritizes all learning around the importance of God, and how we as Catholics should care for each other. This sets an incredible foundation for life. Students at Butler Catholic treat one another with kindness, help each other, and are always willing to participate in a variety of projects. I also see parents and staff dedicating their time and doing everything possible to make our school so special.
