“I believe that every child needs to understand and use their God given gifts and talents. It is my job to help each child work to their potential and to share these gifts.”
Personal and Professional Background
I have been at Butler Catholic School for over 30 years. I was raised in Butler, graduated from Butler High School, and earned my B.S. in Elementary Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
In addition to my Elementary Education degree, I am certified to teach middle school mathematics and Social Studies for grades seven through nine.
I was born in Butler and have attended St Peter’s Church my whole life. I married David Dorcy and we have two children, Dante and Amara. My son, Dante, graduated from BCS in 2008 and my daughter, Amara, graduated in 2013.
Most of my spare time I spend with my family watching sporting events or just visiting with friends, but I also enjoy reading, playing cards, and doing Sudoku puzzles.
