“I enjoy incorporating hands-on activities into my teaching lessons. The more the children do themselves, the more they remember and retain what they are taught.”
Personal and Professional Background
I have been teaching for 34 years for the Diocese of Pittsburgh, and at Butler Catholic School since 2000. I graduated from Edinboro University with a B.S. in Elementary Education with a concentration in Reading and Social Studies.
My husband Chris and I have two grown children, Angelina and Eli. We live in Sarver with our dog Taffy, a few cats, and a Sun Conure named Birdie.
Outside of teaching, I love to craft and spend time with my family. My home parish is St. Mary’s in Freeport, and I have a special devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe and Our Lady of Fatima.
