Your business could donate to Butler Catholic School and pay fewer tax dollars as a result. The Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) makes it possible.
The EITC Program enables companies to support nonprofit schools like Butler Catholic at minimal cost. Instead of sending tax dollars to Harrisburg, companies can reallocate them to support our school’s financial aid program.
-PA provides generous tax credits to eligible businesses that contribute
-Tax credits start at 75% of donation for 1-year period
-Tax credits increase to 90% of donation for 2-year period
-Credits can be applied to as much as $300,000
Butler Catholic School is an approved scholarship organization and has already received support through the EITC Program. The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has allocated millions of dollars in tax credits to the EITC program over the years. Funds are disbursed on a first-come-first-served basis.

How?
A business applies to participate by completing a simple one-page application form (Appendix 1-SO). The form MUST BE COMPLETED ELECTRONICALLY online through the Department of Community and Economic Development’s (“DCED”) website dced.pa.gov. For further information or questions, contact the DCED.
