"If I knew then what I know now, all three of my children would have attended Butler Catholic School. There is a large age difference between my youngest daughter Alexa and her older siblings. When my husband and I were deciding on education for Alexa, we decided to try Butler Catholic. It was the best decision we could have made!
The faith-based environment at BCS helps each child grow into the best version of themselves through academic excellence, character development, athletics, lots of extra-curricular activities, service to others, and most of all confidence that their loving, heavenly Father is always with them. Not only do I wholeheartedly recommend Butler Catholic as a parent, but also as a teacher's assistant.
Two years ago I began working at BCS after being employed with the public school system for many years. I absolutely love my job at Butler Catholic! Our principal, Sister John Ann has set the standard so high that every student and faculty member can be very proud to say that they are part of the Butler Catholic family."

"My nine years at Butler Catholic have greatly impacted my life. I wouldn’t be the person that I am today if my parents hadn’t made the decision to send me to Butler Catholic.
The selfless and caring teachers taught me how to be compassionate and hard-working, while at the same time gave me a quality education. The athletics taught me the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship.
Most importantly, Butler Catholic helped me to grow closer to God and helped to me to realize what God wants for me in my life. I have made lasting friends and memories and see success in my future.
None of this would’ve possible if I hadn’t gone to BCS. Sending your child to Butler Catholic is the best decision that you can make for your child’s future."
-Nicholas Rine, BCS Class of 2018
"Our family decided to send our children to Butler Catholic prior to our oldest two entering Kindergarten and Third Grade.
Five years later, all four of our children, ranging in ages from 4 to 13, are currently enrolled at Butler Catholic School. I could go on and on about everything I love about the school. I could point to the individualized academics, the smaller classroom sizes, the outstanding faculty led by Principal Sister John Ann, the variety of extracurricular activities, the overwhelming sense of community.
But reflecting back now, five years after transferring into Butler Catholic, I can tell you that the biggest difference is that God is still a part of my children’s school days. Values of respect, forgiveness, faithfulness, and service to others are resonated now both at home and at school. Butler Catholic School has not only been a great choice for our children but it has also honestly made my husband and I better parents and better Catholics. I can honestly say that this was one of the best parenting decisions we have ever made.
I invite you to come see for yourself all the amazing things our school has to offer. The only regret I have is our family not transferring to BCS sooner."
"My name is Marisa Shaffer, and I am a 2018 graduate of Butler Catholic School, and a freshman at Butler Senior High School.
I transferred to BCS in 5th grade, and am thankful to have spent my middle school years at BCS where everyone is treated fairly and kindly, and the teachers are inspiring and understanding. I can already see the impact BCS has made in my life.
My transfer to high school has been really easy because of the preparation I had at BCS. First, I have done well academically in high school because of the education I received at BCS. Second, I have the strength now to tell myself that God is always with me no matter what the situation, because BCS helped me grow so much in my faith. I thank Butler Catholic School for everything they have done for me along my journey. I am very grateful that my parents made the decision to send me and my younger brothers and sister to BCS.
I highly recommend to any parent thinking about sending their children to Catholic school to definitely go and visit BCS!"
"If you are thinking about transferring your child or starting them at Butler Catholic School, do not wait. DO IT NOW!
I believe this school can change your child's life, as it did mine. I transferred to BCS in 7th grade, and finally enjoyed an education that was fun, stimulating and rewarding. The school also challenged me to be a better person. It helped me acknowledge that I’m not the most important person in the world, God is. Being close to God, getting a good education, and meeting life-long friends were all made possible to me at Butler Catholic School. So forget the other schools and make your child’s education better and enroll them in BCS."
"Butler Catholic School has been a great decision for our family both academically and spiritually. Hearing our daughter share stories of her classmates helping and praying for each other is very uplifting. Faculty, students, and families continue to show us God’s love in action with their support and encouragement of each other. We feel blessed to be part of the Butler Catholic Family."
"We chose Butler Catholic because the smaller class size enables the teachers to actually teach to each student’s strengths and weaknesses, instead of teaching for a better result in a standardized test by which public schools receive their funding. Plus the spirituality of the school not only enriches their minds, but also their souls, making them the kind of people this planet needs right now, and in the future."
"My name is Jordon, and I am a 2015 graduate of Butler Catholic School. I came to BCS when I was in fourth grade.
I transferred from a public school to Butler Catholic. I wasn’t happy at first when my parents told me, but I later found out that it was the best decision my parents have made for me.
At BCS I have made so many lifelong friendships and memories. All the teachers are great, and because of the smaller classes they get to have more one-on-one time to talk and help you through studies. This school prepares you for other grades to come and teaches you strong morals and ethics.
I hope you have the experience that I was so lucky to have by coming to Butler Catholic School."
The best investment that we have made for our daughters is sending them to Butler Catholic School. My husband says it best: “IT IS THE BEST BILL WE HAVE!” Our daughters transferred to Butler Catholic School in First grade and Kindergarten. Our oldest daughter had completed one year of Kindergarten in a larger public school when we decided that we would like to explore other educational opportunities. My husband and I hoped for a faith based education, a small class room size and a school that excelled academically. A school with a sense of community and school pride, and where all students are known by name. After one year of attending BCS, our children are thriving, and we are all so happy with our decision. Butler Catholic School has exceeded all of our expectations! Marci Kelley
"I am so incredibly thankful for my educational experience at Butler Catholic School, because without Butler Catholic, my life would be so different.
I don’t know if I would have discerned my current college major, nor would I know who I am, my purpose in life, or God’s role in my life. My parents transferred me to Butler Catholic School in fifth grade. I was very comfortable at my current school, and did not want to leave. I soon realized however that Butler Catholic was a very special place. I first noticed the infectious energy and passion for learning by the teachers. Teachers who cared so much; that was my favorite part! I was also encouraged to not only complete tasks, but to challenge myself to go above expectations. It was this encouragement that prepared me for high school, and eventually led to being co-valedictorian (along with another BCS graduate) at St. Joseph’s High School.
I am currently pursuing a doctorate in Physical Therapy. I am so grateful for the investment my parents made in my education, and their decision to send me to Butler Catholic. It was truly a defining moment that changed my life for the better."
"For any parent considering sending their child to Butler Catholic School, I say do it! I promise, you won’t regret it. If there is one thing that I learned from my father over the years, it’s that you get what you pay for.
BCS is a perfect example of this idea. Yes, you will have to make some sacrifices to pay for tuition, but let me tell you what you get in the BCS package deal. You get the best education around. The main reason for this is because you have teachers that really care. Most of them have experience and knowledge beyond their years. They could be teaching at bigger schools and be making more money, but they don’t. They have a real passion for teaching and they care that the kids learn what they need to learn. They push the kids to be the best that they can be. Oh, you thought you were just getting an education in this deal?
How about on top of an education, I add in a spiritually enriching experience. BCS is where the foundation of my faith was build. I learned about my faith, practiced my faith, and grew closer to God all at the same time. Finally, I’ll wrap up this package deal by telling you about the different opportunities that you will have. There are sports, musicals, mentoring programs, community service programs, student government positions, robotics, academic competitions, band, and many more programs that all help your child grow and experience all sorts of different things. BCS helps your child build character and shape their moral conscience. Some people may think of spending money on a private, catholic education as just that, spending money. But let me tell you, after going through thirteen years of private schooling, it is not spending money. You are making the very best investment that you can into your child’s future. You won’t realize it now, but you are opening doors for your child that they won’t even come to until years down the road."
