Volunteering is an important part of the BCS community, and volunteers are vital for many school programs. Even more importantly, volunteering teaches our students how to be helpful and supportive members of their communities.
In order to protect the safety of all children, it is the policy of the Diocese of Pittsburgh that anyone - paid or volunteer - who has direct contact with minors is required to complete a clearance process before they begin working with students. This clearance process is outlined on the diocesesan website.
Keeping our students safe is our first priority. By investing time in completing the clearance process, our volunteers and staff make that their first priority, too.
To find step-by-step instructions, visit the diocesan website to complete this very important process, ensuring we keep our school as safe as possible.
